Working for the Central City Circus
The woman worked for the Central City Circus as a snake charmer. Many years later, in 2013, the circus was shut down due to popular demand, leaving the troupe out of a job. That night, however, they were struck by a shockwave from the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator, giving them meta-human powers, the woman that of being able to control animals.
The woman was approached by Nathan Bliss, her former ringmaster, to have her join him. She traveled to Central City Zoo, where she controlled many of the animals and stormed the city. She took her pet Russell's vipers and visited a businessman, constricting him for having taken the deed for the circus from Mr. Bliss. She then returned to the circus and watched on as Mr. Bliss explained the circus' history to The Flash and then began to torture him. The Flash was promptly saved by his teammates, who ran past the woman, carrying Barry. She explained that they were forced to side with Mr. Bliss due to his powers, allowing them to go. As a number of the members approached, she sent them in the wrong direction. Joey Rose questioned whether she helped them, before revealing that he too had, before they both went back into the tent. They traveled to a stadium, playing as the half-time show. Despite her hesitations, the zoopathic woman joined the rest of the circus on the field as Mr. Bliss made all of the crowd begin to fight themselves. Realizing what he was doing, the woman made her snakes constrict Bliss, wanting him to stop. One of the circus members helped him, chopping the heads off one of the snakes. She sent one of his spears back at him, but the circus turned on her. As Joey began to choke her, she was saved by The Flash. They were promptly all incarcerated in the Pipeline in S.T.A.R. Labs.

- Meta-human physiology: After she was struck by the energy of the particle accelerator explosion, this altered her DNA and supercharged her cells, augmenting her physiology into beyond peak human condition.
