Victor "Vic" Stone (born c. 1996) is a member of the Doom Patrol, who joined after Gar Logan's departure with the Titans. He is pulled into The Red by accident and while there meets Gar and later Kory Anders, whom he develops a crush on.

Biography[]

At some point in his life, Vic suffered an accident that almost killed him. In order to save his life, his father modified his body using mechanical implants.

Some time after Gar Logan left to join the Titans, Victor joined the ranks of the Doom Patrol and lives in the Caulder house with Dr.Niles Caulder, Rita Farr, Cliff and Larry. During that time he came to know Gar likely through the Titans' public fame as a well-liked superhero team in San Francisco and his fellow Patrol's connection to him.

When he, Larry and Cliff are all accidentally pulled into The Red, taking the form of Caulder's manor, by Gar, Vic discovers Gar's unconscious body and calls for help.[1]

Meeting Gar and visiting the Red[]

Unable to wake Gar, Vic along with Larry and Cliff attempt to cut back the plant life covering the surfaces of the manor and find a way to escape. After three days Gar wakes up and the pair are introduced by Cliff, who remarks that there is a 50/50 chance they will kill one another. Vic believes Gar trapped them there on purpose and rejects Gar's handshake, opting instead to display his hand-cannon.

Later, Vic witnesses Kory's sudden arrival and runs for the door before it closes as he hopes to use it as an escape. Kory punches Vic in the jaw on reflex as he runs at her, assuming he was an attacker and the door closes behind her. Despite being hit by her, Vic finds himself smitten and compliments the strength of her punch. Sitting together, he admires Kory as she presses a bag of frozen peas to his jaw for him.

Vic is begrudgingly pulled into a game of tennis with Larry against Kory and Gar, and further blames Gar for trapping them in the Red, not believing him when he insists he's not to blame. Vic when he makes a joke about Gar's mother that Cliff chastises him for, to Vic's disbelief. When Larry finds a small box room with an endless ceiling labelled "Back Door" that begins to close on them, the group attempts to push against the wall to slow it's crush. Gar and Vic figure out a plan of how to get out using a Killers Trilogy movie reference, intending to blow up the roof where Larry's Negative Spirit is lighting up a spatial rift but Vic says that he can't see. Gar tells Vic to aim for him and turns into a bat, flying up. Vic worries that he might hit Gar and Kory angrily warns him not to. Vic fires, calling out his signature Booyah! and frees them all from the Red. It is assumed Cliff, Vic and Larry returned home while Kory and Gar return to S.T.A.R. Labs.[2]
